Our Founding Fathers and Sustainability

The Bloomingdale Garden Club hosts Kay McKeen from SCARCE for a presentation on the historical aspects of caring for the environment. Our historic leaders had a clear understanding of the need to protect and nurture the soil. Kay’s program will include The Founding Gardeners book, composting, WWII Victory Gardens and today’s community gardens.
