Garden Club Christmas Donations to West Suburban Care and Rehabilitation Center

We requested that members consider donating $10 worth of items at Christmas for West Suburban Care and Rehabilitation. MANY donated far more than that. At least half of our active members participated. Items donated were drawn from a “Wish List” given to us from West Suburban. 

Types of Items Donated (MANY in multiples) were body wash (men’s & women’s) • body lotion • nail polish & polish remover • watches • deodorant • shampoo & conditioner • tooth paste/tooth brushes • DVDs • puzzle books • socks • sports attire • hats • candy • cookies • snack mix • candy canes • crackers • stuffed animals • colored pencils/crayons • 2021 wall calendars • gift bags and tissue paper. 

Vina, Chris Magnatowski’s contact at West Suburban, was so thrilled to get all the donations! They were very grateful. Chris, Cathy, and Linda delivered the items on December 18th. What a wonderful group we are!!  So much stuff!!
